The 2 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech starts with an earl pickup from your accommodation or airport and journey through the beautiful Middle Atlas Mountains which offers a welcome visual change of pace. First, we pause in Ifrane, known as the “Switzerland of Morocco” for its alpine-style architecture and exceptional cleanliness it’s also home to Al al-Qarawiyyin University. Then we head to the Cedar Forest to see wild Barbary apes. The journey continues via the apple capital of Midelt and along the stunning peaks of the Middle Atlas Mountains. In the late afternoon, we arrive Merzouga, where you will ride camels and take a one-hour trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi before reaching your desert camp. Enjoy a breathtaking sunset over the endless sands and spend the night sleeping under the stars.
Enjoy your breakfast in Merzouga, then leave the golden dunes. Today first point of interest will be the stunning beautiful Todgha Gorges, a series of limestone river canyons flanked by high cliffs that in places reach up to 300 meters. Walk down into the gorge and admire its natural beauty, along with the rock climbers scaling its steep cliffs. Later we continue driving on the way of Thousand Kasbah to reach Ouarzazate often called the “Hollywood of Africa.” This small town is famous for its film studios and desert-like landscapes featured in productions such as Gladiator, Game of Thrones and many others. Nearby lies the ancient ksar of Ait Ben Haddou, one of the best-preserved fortified villages in Morocco and a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
With its narrow alleys and mudbrick towers perched on a hill above a dry riverbed, it’s a cinematic marvel that seems frozen in time. After a short visit, drive over the winding Tizi n’Tichka Pass 2,200 meters high crossing the majestic High Atlas Mountains. In the late afternoon we reach Marrakech, where we will directly transfer you to your Riad, hotel, or Airport. End of the 2 Days tour from Fes to Marrakech.

We had only two days but wanted to experience Morocco’s desert, and Aziz made it possible in the best way. From the moment he picked us up in Fes, he was kind, knowledgeable, and a very safe driver. The journey was long but filled with beautiful stops, from Ifrane to the Ziz Valley. The camel ride into the golden dunes of Merzouga was unforgettable, and Hakim made sure everything went smoothly at the camp. On the way to Marrakech, he showed us amazing places like Todra Gorge. Despite the short time, Aziz gave us a truly magical Sahara adventure. Thank you so much.
Our 2-day desert tour with Ismail was incredible. He managed the long journey with patience, professionalism, and humor, which made the trip enjoyable. Ismail always ensured we felt comfortable. Riding camels through Erg Chebbi at sunset was the highlight, and the desert camp exceeded expectations with great food, Berber music, and stargazing. On the way to Marrakech, Ismail stopped at Todra Gorge and other scenic spots, making the drive much more interesting. His knowledge made our short trip feel full and rich. We couldn’t have asked for a better experience.
