Upon your arrival at Errachidia airport, an expert driver-guide from Moroccan Trips will warmly welcome you and accompany you on your journey toward Merzouga. Depending on your flight schedule, you’ll have two options for today:
➡ Option 1 (Arrival from Marrakech – Morning or Early Afternoon):
If your flight lands in the morning or early afternoon, you’ll enjoy a scenic drive with stops along the way, including the beautiful Ziz Valley, famous for its lush palm groves and panoramic views. By late afternoon, you’ll reach Merzouga, where your camel caravan will be waiting. Embark on a camel trek across the golden dunes of Erg Chebbi, admire a spectacular desert sunset, and arrive at your luxurious Sahara camp. Here, you’ll be welcomed with traditional hospitality and spend the night under the starry desert sky.
➡ Option 2 (Arrival from Casablanca – Midnight):
If your flight from Casablanca arrives around midnight, you’ll be transferred directly to Merzouga for a comfortable overnight stay in a desert hotel. This ensures you can rest well after your journey and wake up refreshed, ready to begin your Sahara adventure the next morning.
Start your day with a stunning sunrise over the golden Sahara dunes, a moment that truly captures the desert’s magic. After breakfast at the camp, your driver will take you on a 4-hour desert adventure. Visit a nomadic family living in traditional tents and share tea while learning about their simple, resilient lifestyle.
